DARNA TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are effective from 09 September 2020

A. What you need to know about your membership

  1. Darna by Aldar (the “Programme”) is a loyalty programme operated by Aldar Properties PJSC, its subsidiaries and group companies (hereinafter referred to as “Aldar Group”, “Aldar”, “we” or “us”) in accordance with these Terms.
  2. If you join the Programme and become a Darna member (“Member”) these Terms will become a contract between you and Aldar. As a Member you will earn loyalty points (“Points”) when making qualifying purchases on products and services at participating Aldar Group companies and its partner outlets (“Participating Outlets”), by presenting the Darna mobile application or registered email address (which was used for enrollment on the Darna mobile application) at the time of purchase.
  3. Aldar may also partner with one or more providers of goods or services and allow them to participate in the Programme from time to time (“Programme Partners”). As a Member you would be able to either earn or redeem Points at Programme Partners and Participating Outlets.
  4. These Terms relate to the membership, earning and redeeming of Points, usage of tier benefits, redemptions of Darna rewards under the Programme (“Rewards”) and redemptions of offers available to Darna Members (“Offers”).

B. Important things to know about participating in Darna

  1. In the course of operating Darna and providing member benefits and features of the Programme, we collect and handle your personal information. This assists us in the membership registration process, allocating of member benefits, promoting services and products offered by us, our related companies and partners, and providing a customised experience when you interact with the Darna Programme. You can read more about how we collect and handle your personal information, including sharing with others, in our Privacy Policy.
  2. You consent to receiving marketing and promotional communications from us and partners by email, text message or other digital service, phone or post, subject to our Privacy Policy and obligations under applicable laws. You can read more about our marketing practices in our Privacy Policy, including how to manage marketing communications preferences. You can unsubscribe from our contact list at any time using the “unsubscribe” facility in our electronic messages, by managing your contact preferences through your Darna account when logged in or by contacting us.
  3. Subject to your rights under any applicable laws and to the extent allowed by law, we and our related companies, contractors, partners and their officers, employees, agents, exclude liability to you for any indirect or consequential loss (including economic loss, loss of profits and loss of opportunity), damage, claim or expense, you may suffer in connection with these Terms or the Darna Programme generally.
  4. We may need to change these Terms from time to time. We will act reasonably in making any changes, and publish any changes to the Terms on the Darna website www.darnarewards.com.
  5. It is important you understand that member benefits and features of Darna will change over time. This includes but is not limited to changes to:
    • (i) the ways you can earn and redeem Points – i.e. the Participating Outlets or Program Partners you can earn and redeem with;
    • (ii) Points earn rates for eligible transactions – i.e. the number of Points you earn on an eligible transaction;
    • (iii) Tier status eligibility and associated Tier Benefits;
    • (iv) Points redemption rates – i.e. how many Points it will take to redeem a Reward; and
    • (v) Program Partners and Participating Outlets, and the earn and redemption rates set by such Program Partners and Participating Outlets.
  6. We cannot guarantee that Participating Outlets and Programme Partners will continue to be part of Darna, or that any member benefits, features, Rewards or Offers of Darna will continue to be available. These may change at the discretion of Aldar from time to time.
  7. Aldar reserves the right to change or discontinue the Programme, or to modify, cancel or withdraw any of the Terms at any point of time at its own discretion. It reserves the right to cancel any and all Programme memberships for a duration of time as deemed suitable by Aldar. Aldar will use reasonable efforts to reflect any changes, updates or modifications to the Programme on the website www.darnarewards.com. It is the responsibility of the Member to carefully read and agree to these terms and conditions.
  8. Aldar reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any or all Darna memberships issued for any breach of these terms and conditions. In doing so, Aldar may refuse to award Points, revoke Points and discontinue the redemption of Points at its sole discretion.
  9. Your participation in the Programme, whether it be through the accrual of Points, redemption of Points, redemption of Offers or by any other means of engagement, you provide acceptance of these terms and conditions and understand they are subject to change from time to time.
  10. Your membership of the Programme will be cancelled with immediate effect if you are involved in any act of fraud or activities deemed detrimental to the Aldar Group. Cancellation of your Darna membership will result in all Points accrued being forfeited.
  11. Aldar has the right to change or revoke any benefits and Offers extended to you as part of the Programme. Aldar will be not be responsible for any liability arising from such circumstances.
  12. Aldar will not be liable for any unlawful use or misuse of your Darna Membership, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your Darna Membership is secure and all details are up to date at all times.
  13. As a member you are responsible for any loss, damage, theft or misuse of your Darna membership. Please report any loss, damage, theft or misuse immediately to the Darna Member Services Centre so the appropriate actions to suspend your Darna membership can be taken.
  14. Any benefits, services or Offers provided to a Member as a result of his/her participation in the Programme, whether these are provided by Aldar or by any Participating Outlets and/or Programme Partner, the Member will be responsible for any and all costs as a result of using a benefit, service or Offer, including but not limited to taxes, surcharges, fees, charges, claims or liabilities. The use of benefits, services and Offers will be subject to the terms and conditions of the provider of said benefits, services or Offers (as applicable). Aldar shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from withdrawal or change of, either the Programme or any benefits, services or Offers which are made available to Members.
  15. You are responsible for any and all costs involved in downloading the Darna mobile application on your mobile device. Once downloaded and upon successful sign in, you will have access to your membership details including Points balance, rewards and benefits.
  16. The sale, transfer or barter of any Points, services, Tier levels, Offers or other benefits is strictly prohibited.
  17. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and any dispute may be referred to the courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

C. Enrollment and Membership

  1. You will be issued a Darna membership at the time of enrollment against the email address and mobile number which you provide during the registration process. Your registered email address will be used as your unique identifier in the Programme.
  2. All Darna memberships remain the property of the Aldar Group and any and all decisions relating to the awarding of memberships shall be at the discretion of Aldar.
  3. Membership to the Programme is free of charge.
  4. To qualify for membership the individual registering must be thirteen (13) years of age or older. Acceptance of these terms and conditions during enrollment provides confirmation that the minimum age requirement has been met.
  5. A Member is only permitted to hold only one valid Darna membership in his/her name at any given time. Membership is non-transferable so in the event more than one membership is being held by an individual, Aldar reserves the right to cancel one or all memberships held by the individual and any Points accrued at that time will be lost.
  6. To assist with membership activity and engagement statistical analysis, Aldar will classify Members into Active and Inactive statuses. A Member who has not transacted within a 12-month period will be deemed by the Programme as 'inactive'. Active status will be reinstated upon making their next transaction. In the event a Member remains ‘inactive’ for 24-months or a period of time as deemed suitable by Aldar, the Member may have their membership cancelled by Aldar at its discretion. Reasonable efforts will be made to advise the Member of cancellation in advance of doing so.
  7. Your participation in Darna will continue unless you choose to close your Darna membership account. To close your account, you will need to contact the Darna Member Service Centre on [email protected] .proof of identity may be required. You will need to manually remove all Linked Cards (see below) from your account.
  8. You can de-link your cancelled/suspended Linked Card/s by clicking on ‘remove card’ in ‘Link Card’ section on the mobile application. If you cancel your Darna account or de-link your Eligible Card (see below), you will not be allocated any pending Points not awarded at the time of cancellation or de-linkage of the Eligible Card. Closing your Darna account will not result in you cancelling your Darna membership.
  9. 1% value back will be awarded to Premium Memberships (7-day memberships) only and with full payment for the membership received

D. Tiers and Tier Benefits

  1. Darna consists of three published tiers, namely Bronze, Silver and Gold. Upon successful registration to the Programme, a Member will be enrolled into the Bronze tier.
  2. To achieve and retain higher membership tiers, the following total spend amounts (AED) must be earned through qualifying transactions within the Aldar Group, Participating Outlets and/or Programme Partners (as applicable) over 12-month period from date of registration or from your last tier upgrade:
    • (i) Bronze – 0 - 10,000 AED
    • (ii) Silver – 10,001 - 25,000 AED
    • (iii) Gold – 25,000+ AED
  3. Any purchase made before successful completion of Darna registration is not eligible for back-dated points.
  4. Each tier is eligible for tier benefits which are published in the mobile application. All tier benefits are subject to change at any time without prior notification. Where changes are made, Aldar will endeavour to advise you of any changes in advance. To review the latest tier benefits, review the Darna mobile application.
  5. Tier benefits will be a mixture of soft tier benefits and tier-based rewards, also referred to as ‘Offers’. Soft tier benefits will require the member to show proof of valid membership to avail the chosen benefit.
  6. Tier Benefits and tier-based rewards are subject to the terms and conditions as from time to time. For the most up to date terms, please review the details as displayed on the Darna mobile application. Terms of use and any other applicable special conditions are subject to change at any time and at the sole discretion of Aldar.

E. Earning Points

  1. Members may earn Points across all Aldar Group assets within the Aldar asset portfolio. This includes the following: • Residential Communities

    The Aldar asset portfolio as listed above is subject to change at any time without prior notification. Where changes are made, Aldar will endeavour to advise you of any changes in advance.
  2. Points will be credited to the members account in the following ways:
    • Education – post making a successful qualifying transaction made directly to the Aldar Academy, Points will be credited directly to the Member’s account within seven (7) working days.
    • Leasing & Provis - post making a successful qualifying transaction made directly to Provis, Points will be credited directly to the Member’s account within seven (7) working days.
    • Aldar Properties - post making a successful qualifying transaction made directly to Aldar Properties, Points will be credited directly to the Member’s account within seven (7) working days.
    • Khidmah Home Maintenance - post making a successful qualifying transaction made directly to Khidmah Home Maintenance, Points will be credited directly to the Member’s account within seven (7) working days.
    • Hospitality - post making a successful qualifying transaction directly at a participating Hospitality outlet, Points will be credited immediately upon successful payment and pin validation by an authorised agent in the Member’s Darna mobile application.
    • Retail Malls and Community Centres - post making a successful qualifying transaction at a participating Aldar Retail Mall or Community Centre Participating Outlet, Points will be credited to the Member’s account within fifteen (15) working days of successful payment. For more information on earning Points at Retail Malls and Community Centres, please see section G below.
    • Golf Courses - post making a successful qualifying transaction directly at a participating Golf Course outlet, Points will be credited immediately upon successful payment and pin validation by an authorised agent in the Member’s Darna mobile application. 1% value back will be awarded to Premium Memberships (7-day memberships) only and with full payment for membership received.
  3. Points earned are valid for 24 months. All unused Points will automatically expire after 24 months and therefore can no longer be used for redemption.
  4. Under no circumstances can Points be re-credited after redemption.
  5. Returns, refunds and cancellations of Aldar Group services or products must happen as per Aldar Group terms of purchase. In the event of a cancellation, return or refund from Khidmah Home maintenance services, Aldar Properties, Provis or Aldar Academies, Aldar reserves the right to revoke Points awarded based on the original transaction value. If your Points have already been redeemed before the refund/cancellation has been completed, Aldar will deduct the value of points (in AED) from the balance of the refund due.
  6. Points cannot be pooled with the Points balance of any other member.
  7. Points earning rate is calculated by Aldar and is subject to change at any time without prior notification.
  8. Points can only be earned on qualifying transactions at Participating Outlets and through Programme Partners as mentioned below. Aldar reserves the right to add or remove any of the Participating Outlets anytime without prior notice. Aldar will make reasonable efforts to advise you of any changes in advance.
    • Education – successful transactions for term fees only at Aldar Academies, namely: Al Forsan Academy, The Pearl Academy, Al Yasmina Academy, Al Muna Academy, Al Bateen Academy, Al Ain Academy, Al Mamoura Academy, West Yas Academy.
    • Leasing & Provis - successful transactions for rental payments only at Provis Managed properties, namely: Al Bandar, Al Muneera, Al Oyoun, Al Rayyana, Al Zeina, Eastern Mangroves, Gate & Arc, Khalidiya Village, Sas Al Nakhl, Sky & Sky Towers, Al Ghadeer, Al Falah, WTC Burj Mohammed Bin Rashed, Al Bateen, Al Gurm, Al Hadeel, Al Raha Gardens, Ansam, Golf Gardens, Shams Meera, Saadiyat Beach Villas, Saadiyat Beach Residences, Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Jawaher Villas, Yas Acres, The Bridges.
    • Aldar Properties - successful transactions for unit payments and customer funded Service Charges at Aldar Properties, namely: Al Ghadeer, Al Hadeel, Ansam, Jawaher, Mamsha, Meera, Nareel, Reflection, The Bridges, WatersEdge, Yas Acres, Al Reeman, Saadiyat Reserve, LEA - Yas Acres Plot.
    • Khidmah Home Maintenance - successful transactions for the following services rendered only at Provis Managed properties: Annual Maintenance Packages, Proactive Maintenance, Landscaping and Maintenance, Pool installation, Maintenance and Cleaning, Duct Cleaning, Pest Control (excluding Termite Control), Handyman services, Water tank cleaning, Cleaning services.
    • Hospitality - successful transactions paid directly at participating Food and Drink, Spa and Fitness Center outlets at the following Aldar owned and or managed Hotels, namely: Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Yas Island Rotana, Centro Yas Island, Crowne Plaza, Tilal Liwa, Hala Arjan, Anantara, Staybridge Suites Yas, Westin, the W Hotel Abu Dhabi, Courtyard WTC.
    • Retail Malls and Community Centres - successful transactions paid directly at participating outlets using a valid linked Visa card at the following Aldar Retail Malls and Community Centres, namely: Yas Mall, World Trade Center, Al Jimi, Al Bandar, Al Muneera, Al Rayyana, Al Zeina, Gardens Plaza, Marsa, Shams Boutik, Etihad Plaza, Al Bateen Park.
    • Golf Courses - successful transactions for annual memberships and one-time pay and play services at Aldar owned or managed Golf Courses, namely: Yas Links, Saadiyat Links, Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
  9. Points earned for any qualifying transaction for Education, Leasing & Provis, Aldar Properties and Khidmah Home Maintenance services will be credited to the Member’s account within seven (7) working days of successful payment. Points earned for any qualifying transaction at a participating Hospitality outlet will be credited immediately upon successful payment and pin validation by an authorised Aldar agent in the Member’s Darna mobile application. Points earned for any qualifying transaction at a participating Aldar Retail Mall or Community Centre partner outlet will be credited to the members account within fifteen (15) working days of successful payment. Post this time period, when the Points become available in your membership account, you can choose to redeem them at any Participating Outlet immediately.
  10. To claim missing Points, follow the process as described below.
    • Email the Darna Member Services Centre at [email protected]
    • On request, provide details of missing Points including proof of purchase and proof of identity. This may include Invoice number, invoice date, and Programme Partner in order to verify the claim. Only claims made within 30 days of purchase will be considered. Any claims for transactions where Points or credit notes have been used are not eligible.
    • The claim shall be processed only if the details provided match those with Aldar’s records.
    • Aldar reserves the right to refuse any claim.
    • A Member cannot claim Points for a transaction made by another person or on behalf of another person.
  11. Aldar reserves the right to adjust the number of Points accrued if the Points were accrued as a result of error or misrepresentation, negligence, card or terminal malfunction or for any other reason resulting in the Darna Points being invalidly accrued.

F. Redeeming Points

  1. Points can be redeemed by visiting any Participating Outlets.
  2. There is no minimum number of Points required to make a redemption.
  3. To redeem, the Member must present their Darna mobile application and or provide their registered email address.
  4. Points will be automatically deducted from the Member's account at time of redemption. Points can be redeemed in full or as part points/part cash. If the value of the purchase exceeds the sum total of the Points available in your membership account, the balance amount must be paid by the Member using a valid payment method.
  5. Points once redeemed cannot be re-used or re-credited.
  6. Points cannot be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded. Points cannot be exchanged for cash.
  7. Points are valid for 24 months from the date they are earned. Once expired, in no event can Points be re-credited.
  8. To redeem Points in one of Aldar’s participating Retail Malls or Community Centres, a Member will need to select ‘Redeem Points’ upon receipt of the notification in the mobile application. The appropriate number of Points will then be deducted, and the equivalent cash amount will be credited back onto the Member’s registered Visa credit or debit card.
  9. To redeem with Khidmah Home maintenance services, the Member will be required to call the call centre on 600-505052 and complete the transaction over the phone. Verification of identity will be required.
  10. To redeem Points at an Aldar Hotels, Aldar Properties, Provis or Aldar Academies follow the below steps:
    • Open the Darn mobile application
    • Select the category you want to redeem at
    • Add the value in AED you wish to redeem
    • Ask the authorised agent to enter their secret pin
    • You will then get a success screen showing how much you have spent in AED. The authorised agent will then reduce the invoice by that amount.
  11. Aldar reserves the right to modify, cancel or withdraw the terms and conditions at any point of time at Aldar's own discretion. This includes the right to withdraw or cancel any or all of the Darna memberships issued, refuse to award Points, withdraw Points, refuse the right to redeem Points collected for any breach of these conditions or failure to pay for the purchases without prior notice.

G. Retail Malls and Community Centres - Linked Cards

General

  1. The Darna Programme will allow Members to earn or redeem Points for transactions made at participating Aldar Retail Malls and Community Centres using an Eligible linked credit or debit card.
  2. A Member that links an eligible card to the Darna Programme (“Eligible Card”) will be able to earn and redeem Points at participating Aldar Retail Malls and Community Centres. Please refer to definition of “Eligible Card” below. Members can also redeem Points against card transactions made with an Eligible Card at participating Retail Malls and Community Centre Participating Outlets (“Eligible Transaction”).
  3. To earn Points for purchases made at participating Aldar Retail Malls and Community Centres, you must be a Member of Darna and have registered an Eligible Card in the Darna mobile application under the ‘Link Card’ section. Members can use their registered Eligible Card (“Linked Card”) to pay for transactions at participating Aldar Retail and Community Centre locations. There may be a minimum purchase value applied that can change at any time at the discretion of Aldar. For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Card will include any valid Visa payment card that belongs to the Member, including but not limited to Visa credit cards, Visa debit cards and Visa pre-paid cards.
  4. In order for a Member to be able to earn or redeem their Points, they must have their notifications turned on in the Darna mobile application. Post a transaction by an Eligible Card the Member will receive a push notification that will ask the Member to choose “earn” or “redeem”. If the Member does not have sufficient Points in their account to be able to redeem, they will not be provided with this option and Points will be issued automatically. For a confirmed redemption request, the credit transaction will happen within fourteen (14) days of the redemption request.
  5. If a Member does not make a selection of “redeem” within an eight (8) hour time period then the Member will automatically earn Points.
  6. Aldar reserves the right to reverse invalid transactions for any reason at their own discretion.
  7. For Members who have linked an existing Eligible Card to another loyalty program operating in the same participating Aldar Retail Malls, they will have the option to select which loyalty currency to earn. Only one loyalty currency can be earned at any given time. A Member can change the selection directly through the Darna mobile application by selecting ‘Link Card’ and updating their preferences.
  8. In the event a Member selects a preferred loyalty currency other than Points, and an Eligible Transaction is made where points earning is not eligible under that loyalty program, but is eligible for Points earning under the Darna Programme, the Member will by default earn Points for that transaction.

Card Linking and Eligible Cards

  1. An “Eligible Card” means a valid payment card that belongs to the Member, including but not limited to Visa credit cards, Visa debit cards and Visa pre-paid cards.
  2. For participation in the Darna Program an Eligible Card must be issued within the United Arab Emirates.
  3. Ineligible Cards include: Visa-branded gift card or a Visa card that has expired, is inactive, cancelled, stolen or is otherwise invalid at the time of making an eligible transaction pursuant to these terms and conditions (Ineligible Transaction).
  4. Eligible Transactions include Eligible Card transactions made at point of sale termination using swipe, PIN or Tap to Pay. This includes transactions made using Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.
  5. Up to five (5) Eligible Cards can be added on the Darna application under the ‘Link Card’ section.
  6. By linking an Eligible card you warrant and confirm that you are the authorised card holder to use that Eligible Card and you the same person who holds the Darna membership account. In the event that Aldar discovers you are not the authorised card holder of the Eligible card, your account will be suspended for investigation.
  7. It is the Members’ responsibility to ensure that the Eligible Card details are correct and entered correctly on the “Link Card” section on the Darna mobile application.
  8. Should an Eligible Card linked to the Darna mobile application become expired or invalid due to theft, cancellation or suspension, it is the Members’ sole obligation to delete this card and update accordingly in the Darna mobile application. For the avoidance of doubt, any transaction made on an expired or invalid card cannot and will not retrospectively earn Points.
  9. Aldar accepts no responsibility for fraudulent transactions made with your Linked Card. By linking an Eligible Card, you are providing your express consent for Aldar to authorize the credit card issuer and/or the payment card processor, as Aldar’s service provider, to monitor your Linked Card transactions for Eligible Transactions.

Removal of Linked Cards

  1. It is the Members’ responsibility to remove any Linked Cards that they no longer wish to earn Points through.
  2. Expired or and invalid Linked Cards will need to be removed by the Member from the Darna mobile application by clicking on the “Delete card” icon in the “Link Card” section in the Darna mobile application.
  3. If the Member receives a new card from their financial institution, it is the obligation of the Member to check the card details are the same as their previously Linked Card and if not they will have to update the details in the Darna mobileapplication by clicking on the “Delete card” icon in the “Link Card” section of the Darna mobile application.

Earning and Redeeming Points through your Linked Card

  1. You can view the amount of Points you will be able to earn in the Rewards/Offers section of the Darna mobile application. Points you have already earned can be seen in the ‘My Darna Points’ section within the Darna mobile application. Points (excluding Points which have been refunded or reversed) will be awarded to your account within 15 days after you have completed an Eligible Transaction.
  2. If you have enough Points in your Darna account and you have enabled push notifications in the Darna mobile application you will be provided with the option to redeem Points for Eligible Transactions. All redeemed Points will be deducted from your Darna membership account instantly. Under no circumstances can redemption transactions be reversed. Refunded Eligible Transactions will not refund Points redeemed as part of the transaction. The transaction amount will be credited back onto the Linked Card used for the Eligible Transaction within fourteen (14) days after the redemption was completed.

Refunds and Reversals

Where an Eligible Transaction is refunded or reversed within fifteen (15) days of the Eligible Transaction being made, no Points will be awarded for that transaction. Any partial refunds or reversals made within fifteen (15) days of the Eligible Transaction, you will only receive Points for the part of the transaction not reversed or refunded. Your Points will be pending throughout the fifteen (15)-day refund period. Pending Points are Points you have earned that have not yet been allocated to your account. Pending Points will be made available in your Darna membership account after a period of up to fifteen (15) days from the date of purchase. Once these Points have been awarded you will be able to redeem them.

Checking your Darna Transactions

  1. You can review your Darna transactions on the Darna mobile application. Points available to redeem will appear under ‘My Darna Points’ on the Darna mobile application.
  2. In case Darna points are not be credited to your Darna membership account within a period of thirty (30) days, you can raise a request to [email protected].
  3. When submitting the claim for missing Points, you will need to provide your registered email address along with proof of purchase. Proof of purchase will include the date of the Eligible Transaction and details of the Participating Outlet where your Linked Card was used.
  4. For a claim to be eligible, the registration of the Linked Card used for the Eligible Transaction must pre-date the date of purchase. All validated missing Points requested will be processed within six (6) months.

H. Darna Rewards/Offers

General

  1. To avail Darna Rewards/Offers, the Member will be required make the redemption through the Darna mobile application by following the process as set out below. To avail more than one Offer, repeat the same process.
    • Tap on the Offer to be redeemed
    • Ask the authorised agent to enter their PIN
    • A success screen showing your redemption has been successful will be shown on the mobile application and the appropriate item or service will be removed from the bill
  2. Up to a maximum of 4 offers per visit/booking/table for a group of 8 people or more can be used.
  3. In the case of a dispute, the bill must be settled as per local law.
  4. Offers redeemed are not inclusive of any applicable service charges/taxes including but not limited to VAT, GST etc (as applicable) and will be separately charged by merchants in compliance with local tax regulations/laws.

Offers Validity

  1. Offers are valid from 2nd January through to 30th December of the year indicated on the Offer, unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to remove and/or amend an Offer at any time and cannot be held responsible or liable in any way if an Offer is removed or amended.
  2. Offers are only redeemable with the issuing merchant and/or venue as displayed in the mobile application.
  3. Offers apply only to the items/services and location(s) specified on the Offer.
  4. Unless otherwise specified, offers are exclusive and not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special offers or dining/loyalty/employee/rewards programmes.
  5. Offers are valid 7 days a week any time during the issuing merchant’s trading hours, unless specified on the Offer and minimal exclusion days apply.
  6. Offers redeemed are not inclusive of any applicable service charges.
  7. Offers redeemed are not inclusive of any taxes including but not limited to VAT, GST etc (as applicable) and may be separately charged by merchants in compliance with local tax regulations/laws.
  8. If a merchant or venue refuses to honour any Offer, please contact Darna Member Services Centre.
  9. Unauthorised reproduction, resale or modification of any Offer is prohibited. Offers are void if resold or bartered.

Food & Drinks Offers

  1. A Main Course/Main Menu Item is defined as the main element of a customer’s lunch or dinner, which can include ‘Sushi’, ‘Burger’, ‘Pizza’ and/or ‘Pasta’. If in doubt, clarify with the server before ordering.
  2. One Offer can be used to redeem one qualified item only, unless otherwise specified.
  3. One Offer can be used by 2 people, up to a maximum of 4 Offers per table, for a group of 8 people or more. This Rule applies regardless of the product the Offer is from. E.g. a group of 4 people can redeem 2 Main Course Offers at a restaurant - redeeming a maximum 2 Offers in total.
  4. Shared dishes are not valid for buy one get one free E.g. 3 people sharing 2 main courses.
  5. The least expensive item (as listed on the Offer) will be deducted. The two items must be from the same category as marked on the Offer, e.g. buy one "Main Course" and get one "Main Course" free; or buy one "Sushi Set Lunch" and get one "Sushi Set Lunch" free.
  6. Only one bill will be presented per table, per group. No splitting of bills will be allowed.
  7. Offers are valid solely for the item listed and are not valid for special events (e.g. Iftar, Suhoor, buffets, set price brunch menu, theme nights, special menus or in conjunction with B.Y.O), unless otherwise indicated on the Offer
  8. Offers are not redeemable for breakfast, starters, side dishes, desserts, combos, kids’ menu or shared platters*, mezze unless otherwise indicated on the Offer.
  9. 9. If a children’s buffet and an adult buffet are on the same bill, the lower priced buffet will be deducted from the bill
  10. Offers are not valid for delivery or take-away, unless otherwise indicated on the Offer.
  11. Discounts do not apply to service charges
  12. Offers contained in Informal Dining & Take-away can be used by 1 person, unless otherwise specified
  13. “% off on the total bill” is an Offer that can be used by solo diners and large groups of people (8 people or more).
  14. 14. The Offer is valid on the total bill amount inclusive of starters, appetizers, deserts, shared dishes & drinks with minor exclusions (e.g. tobacco & hubbly bubbly at some outlets, unless otherwise stated on the voucher)
  15. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Offer or any other discount or packaged offer by the outlet e.g. happy hour, special packages.
  16. The “% off on the total bill” Offer can be redeemed up to a maximum of four (4) times per day.

Exclusion Days

  1. Offers can be used 7 days a week, excluding the following days in the following markets and any other public holidays as announced by the applicable government (subject to merchant discretion): UAE

    • Eid Al Fitr
    • Eid Al Adha
    • 14 February
    • Martyrs Day / Commemoration Day
    • National Day
  2. Note that a limited number of outlets may be closed over the summer, Ramadan and other selected religious holidays. Aldar cannot be held responsible if an outlet is temporarily or permanently closed during the Offer validity period.

I. Promotions

Aldar will run promotions from time to time which will be subject to promotion terms and conditions. We request Members to carefully check the terms and conditions of any promotion before participating. Terms and conditions can be on the Offers detail page.

J. Personal Data and Privacy Policy

  1. Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). To review the full terms of our Privacy Policy click.
  2. Depending on which of our products and/or services you use and how you interact with our sites and the Programme, we collect different kinds of information from or about you.
  3. Any Member that voluntarily links Eligible Card to enable earning and redemption of Points at participating Aldar Retail and Community Centre locations, understands and accepts that personal data will be required to link your Eligible Card to your Darna membership account.
  4. All data provided when linking your Eligible Card will be encrypted, revealing only the last four (4) digits of your Eligible Card’s numbers at any given time.
  5. Available data generated as a result of using of your Eligible Card at participating Aldar Retail and Community Center locations, will be captured and stored by Aldar. This will include, but may not be limited to transactions and location.
  6. De-linking of an Eligible Card can be performed at any time by the Member by clicking on the ”Delete card” icon in the “Link Card” section in the Darna mobile application. It is understood and accepted that once a Linked Card has been deleted, it will no longer be eligible for Points earning and redemption at participating Aldar Retail and Community Center locations.
  7. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of, but not limited to, managing earning and redemption of Points at participating Aldar Retail and Community Center locations using your Eligible Card, developing marketing communications, statistical analysis of data and developing strategies to enhance the Darna Programme proposition.

  1. Copyright in the text, images, photographs, graphics, layout and design of Aldar products are protected by local and international copyright laws. Copyright in all Aldar products and in the text, index, rules of use, offers, layout and other copyrights works contained in each Aldar product, is owned by Aldar Properties PJSC, or used with permission/under license provided by a third party. No part of any Aldar product may be reproduced in any form (including by electronic or mechanical means, photocopying, recording, or information storage and retrieval) without the written permission of the publisher.
